We had a very successful, if somewhat bitter cold day in Morrison's supermarket in Wetherby on Friday 6th February. Shoppers were very generous in their support and we collected an amazing £438.50 and heard many personal stories of loss and survival from cancer. Michelle and I started about 9.30 am. Friends Sharon and John took over for an hour in the morning to allow us a lovely warm coffee break then we were helped later in the day by Jackie and Danny after work. We were really touched by our friends support, especially taking time away from work John and wearing a t-shirt over your suit! I know Gary would have really appreciated that and given him a smile. So a big thank you to all and to Morrison's - hoping to make this an annual event. Gayle
